START UP STORY:
Naomi’s Sprouted Seed Truffles was officially launched on September 9th, 2021, while the world was still shut down.
I had stopped ingesting sugar cane products, artificial sweeteners, coffee, black Tea, etc… over 40 years ago for Health and Well Being reasons.
My parents were teenagers when I was born-then came 5 siblings, and we were pretty much living in survival mode throughout My childhood. I/We grew up eating Sugared and Caffeinated foods daily.
I was 30 pounds overweight as a Child, I was anemic and had headaches almost daily. As a young teenager I became anorexic.
Therefore, I learned on my own, how to pull myself out of’ that rabbit hole’ and unbeknownst to Me then, started on a Life Time Journey of learning about Health and Well Being- Body, Mind and Spirit.
I started eating ‘Organic Foods ” in the early 1970s- back then it was called ‘Whole Foods’, ‘Natural Foods’.
Over the past 50 plus years I have witnessed many changes in Our Food systems including the fact that today there are very few products in the Market Place that offer sweet tasting prepared or packaged foods that do not use sugar cane products, refined sweeteners, or artificial sweetners.
I started making the Truffles for Me in 2018 and shared them with my Daughter-in-Love, who was pregnant with my 1st Grand Child – “Naomi Sunshine,” and then the thought came to turn this into a business in her honor, representing My passion for Healthy Food for Children, All Sentient Beings, and for the Planet…
When Naomi started eating on her own and talking, she told me “Yah Yah, I LIKE Truffles!!!”
I am very passionate about eating Healthy Foods, living on a Healthy Planet for Myself and All of My Relations …AND especially ALL Children.
